Image Compression Issues

I understand why its there, but it's really frustrating and doesn't make sense when an image 3.2 or 3.4 Megabytes in size is compressed it makes no sense at all. I saved an image at 3.08 MB, and discord “compressed” it to 5.49 MB, I don't understand why this isn't a feature we can't turn off, even if it was nitro only.
