Voice calls making microphone not pick up everything

So discord offers a feature called noise cancellation which gets out backronud noise, and EVEN IF YOU HAVE IT DISABLED, you still cant hear everything coming through your friends mic, even if they also have it disabled.

This is very annoying cause I just want to play an audio through my phone to my mic for my friend to hear and it cuts out every few seconds, whereas fortnite, could pick up everything through my mic, please consider this discord.
