Discord Account Compromised

My name is Kala and a couple of days ago my discord account, KalatheKat was hacked by someone pretending to be a friend who needed help with a video game. I download the game and try to run it but get an error and next thing I know my discord glitched, and I'm logged out of everything with no way of getting back in. Wonderful right? No email, no use of the security systems, nothing. I've opened a couple of tickets, with some of which were closed after only a few days.

Right now, I just need advice and hopefully attention, so word gets out to anyone associated with my account to not interact with the person messaging them right now.

Any support or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[5:25PM CST July, 8, 2024]

The account was taken and scumbag contacted me trying to extort money for my account back. Immediately opened up a ticket with an email different from the one linked to my account. A close friend immediately contacted me claiming their account was also taken, no thanks to the hacker using my to get to them.

Tried reasoning with the person while simultaneously opening up another ticker from the correct email as the 1st ticket was closed. Still in contacted with the scumbag, but they refuse to give me my account without a $450 payment. Not happening I'm a poor artist If I had that type of money I wouldn't be paying out some hacker I'd sooner hire a hit.

The ticket was closed again, so I open up another. My phone number is still connected to the previous account, so I can't really just up and make a new account with all the bell and whistles until this issue is resolved. I open up yet another ticket.

Once again, the ticket was closed, so I make another one. On top of that, I contact Discord through many means, from calling up their office, to messages through Instagram and Twitter. Still waiting for a response, but hopefully things go well. I've also realized my email was connected to a dummy account or to another poor user's account, so yippe...

Still no word from any support staff so it looks like I'm on for a long wait. The hackers has gotten to a few friends even deleting a massive DnD server from one of them. A very mean-spirited person is about so stay safe people. Don't download anything from any friends unless you're in a VC with them.

Got a message from a friend that was also affected through me and they manage  to get their account back. The ticket i submitted was turged to sloveddespite no interaction with a discord staff so I will be submitting another one.

Once again my ticket was closed so I had to comens on it to open it up again. I have nothing kind to say at this moments but i pleade for this issue to be resolved soon at the very least an explanatio  on the wait.
