Unfair Action Taken Against Me After Reporting Child Safety Issue

Hey everyone,

I'm really frustrated and confused about something that happened recently, and I need to share my experience. I was in a Discord Gc where I came across a really disturbing situation. There was someone who was manipulating minors into self-harm, which is incredibly serious and dangerous. I knew I had to report this for the safety of the kids involved.

So, I reported the user to Discord's Trust and Safety team, explaining everything that was going on. I thought I was doing the right thing by trying to protect these minors. However, instead of getting the issue resolved, things took a strange turn.

Not long after my report, I received a warning from Discord for "child safety" violations. At first, I thought this was a mistake, but then I kept getting more warnings, and eventually, my account was suspended. I have no idea why this happened, especially since I was the one trying to protect minors from harm.

I'm really confused and upset because I feel like I was punished for trying to do the right thing. Has anyone else experienced something like this, or can someone explain what might have gone wrong? Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

    File exactly ONE ticket, reply to it as they automatically close it, and wait. Because their entire process has an LOT of issues that'll never be worked out
