Separate 'Manage Messages' into 'Pin Messages' and 'Delete Messages'

We just had someone abuse the fact they needed to pin messages to delete actual evidence regarding a transaction :\ We should be able to allow pinning messages without allowing them to do something potentially damaging.

Pinning is transient and not very exploitable, deleting is extremely harmful by comparison as you can't get them back.

    I was just about to ask for this separation! Please Discord, these are very different functions and shouldnt be lumped together!

    I'm back.. I have a very basic version of "PinBot" working for anyone that wants to add this to their server. I'm still updating documentation to run this on your own.. but you're free to test this in your server. Hopefully Discord adds this functionality soon.

    Wow, I can't believe it's literally been 3 years, and something so simple like this still hasn't been changed.  It's still funny thinking about how "pinning" and "deleting" messages shouldn't even have to be mashed together in one permission.  I mainly just avoid pinning altogether throughout Discord now because of the fact that I'm so used to it being stupidly mashed together with the deleting messages permission.  Discord, please fix this!

    Adding support to this, the ability to pin messages should be entirely separate from the ability to delete messages.

    Does Discord even reads this posts anymore? This is actually a must, what are they actually waiting for? I do not think this is so hard to implement and is a no brainer

    its only been 6 years! theres so many duplicate posts, this is clearly a heavily desired feature.
