The visuals only glitched?

I was playing Limbo, when I went to check my notifications on Discord, and I was typing something, when all of a sudden, it started glitching out. I thought it was just one of those lag spikes, where it would go back after a couple seconds, but then it started to get worse. I have two screenshots (Ignore the characters on the far right, they're unrelated lol) before I force-quit it because I know how slow pressing the X can be haha

Just for a little bit of background, I was still able to send messages, so I'm assuming it was only the visuals that were messed up. I also ran a virus check, and nothing showed up.

I re-opened Discord, and it's fine now (For now) but I just wanted to post this so I can know what to do in the future.
