Battery
Why does Discord, both in browser and the desktop app, use so much battery on my laptop? It would be cool if there was some kind of low power mode on it.

Not sure if that is Discord as I have it open almost 24/7 and phone last for a day and a half. Even iPad I can run for more then a half a day in a call without charging. Do you connect to 2.4 or 5 GHz wireless as 5 does eat up more power than 2.4? How many other apps do you run in background?

Still the same question. What Wifi are you on or are you connected to wired? This is the same for my laptop as well.

Hey. I had this exact same issue just a few moments ago. Not sure if this will help in your case, but there was actually a feature called 'Hardware Acceleration' in the 'Appearance' category I had turned on, so I switched it off. My Laptop's predicted life jumped from 2 hours to 5.

I’m on my iPad and I will be at 100% and I will be on discord for like 10 hours and I will be on 5 and I tested the battery for YouTube and I ran YouTube all day and it was at 55

discord should adjust to your battery also make sure u have low power mode on for ur laptop in windows also turn off hardware acceleration turn off all animate icons ect in text and images
