ToS and Guidelines and other app suggestions.
Ok, i have a few suggestions about the ToS and Guidelines.
Firstly, i think that the ToS and Guidelines should be embedded into the desktop app and a simplified version in the mobile applications so users can reference parts of it for proof when the other users are breaking rules they didn't think and refuse to know exist.
Secondly, i think there should be another ToS and Guidelines section that is more interactive, easier to navigate, and more dumbed down and simplified for the "younger area" of Discord. This would be even better for people like me who like to enforce the rules (not like a mod, just making people aware of what they are doing and their consequences). This would be a great addition. The ToS shouldn't be changed to this but this should be available as well as the current ToS and Guidelines page.
As the community, if we find someone breaking rules, we should be able to report them not just report their messages. We should also be able to add a description and title to this.
I also think that there should be a way to contact the Trust and Safety team directly through the desktop apps and website without having to come to this website.
One last thing, please stop your admin's just sending us copypastas and actually make them speak their mind and make them actually listen to us. Please pay attention to the community and just take a moment to look on twitter and other social medias to take in just how bad a job you are doing at your job, no offence. If i had one thing to say, it would be. fix everything, redesign your company, make it better, and stop innocent people getting banned by copypastas and "bots" (people that don't listen to us). Please train your admins better.
I am open to criticism because this isn't a perfect suggestion.
Thanks,
Floffah.

I do agree with this one to at least some degree. I'm not sure about all the ideas in this suggestion, but having a second "Easy Read" version of the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines would be useful for anyone who might struggle with the regular version. So in a way, Discord could have the current "Legalese" version which provides the official policies and handles the related matters, while also having a "Simplese" version which explains everything in a way that is less complicated. That's something I'd agree with 0 -
There's a lot of unintentional ignorance about the Discord ToS/Guidelines because they're not easily accessed, and a lot of problems can arise because of that. I'm honestly surprised that the ToS isn't available on the app, considering how integral it is to maintaining Discord. 0 -
Totally agreed.
