Audio Input - Discord and StreamDeck

StreamDeck has this awesome feature to play sound effects natively, however it's currently a huge pain in the backside to use, as Discord will only accept audio input from one source (typically a microphone or Virtual Cable), so if you want to use it and speak at the same time, you need to set up and run some third party app like VoiceMeeter, which is a nightmare. I've been trying to get it to work properly for over 3 months, without success.

 

How hard would it be to allow for a second audio input source in Discord? So those of us who wish to use a device like StreamDeck could do so without needing a degree in audio hardware setup?

  I don't get why this is downvoted, I'd love for my streamdeck to interact with discord to do stuff. Like you said mute / unmute would be cool and let people hear the soundboard aswell, but there are tons of other things like maybe post messages to a certain channel or switch servers, leave vocal, etc..
