Safari doesn't recognize address starting with "discord"

My email was verified, then page said "Safari can't open the specified address. Can't open "discard://"....  Using desktop MacIntosh with OS X.

PS I couldn't read through 1,590 post titles to find a similar problem. There are 53 pages with about 30 titles per page. I used the page search for "Safari" for a bunch and gave up. Suggest a search for all entries.

  cjonespgmr again. I found the search function and I read that version 11 of Safari is required. I have Version 11.1.2,  so the message is wrong. To be fair, I do have a 2013 (year) i-Mac so maybe my operating system is confused after all these years and updates. I'll drop out of Discord. Thank you.
