Discord Classic Theme

what about a discord theme that looks classic (maybe like teamspeak) that doesn't take up a lot of ram and cpu 

ofc make it dark because light theme bad for eyes

  I'm not sure it making is "less pretty" is going to help anything. The CPU and RAM usage is caused by the Chromium running as base for the whole program. Not by the design itself.

  maybe they should add an option of disabling animations

  It still depends on how the animations are implemented. If they're animating the properties that are triggering repaint or layout recalculation, disabling them could actually boost the performance. If they're using the FLIP method (First, Last, Invert, Play) with transform property - then it's basically useless.
  
  But adding that option just as cosmetic thing isn't that bad idea itself
