Video Preview not Working

Whenever i turn on my video in a call in the preview it doesn't show and has a camera with a red line through it in the bottom right of the preview. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've found stuff about just clicking on it to fix it but for me all that does is focus on me specifically.

  Reinstalling an entire program and deleting a bunch of save data is not a solution to a simple bug like this.
  The issue has persisted for months with no acknowledgement or hotfix from Discord.
  It's so badly ignored that you are sharing the "solution" of a complete reinstall because we have nothing better.
  TLDR: get your shit together Discord.

  In my case it worked to reset the voive settings. Go to Voice & Video and scroll all the way down to the red Button "Reset Voice Settings"
  Done.

  Evolved Imagination's suggestion about resetting all Voice & Video settings works. Just be sure to set them back up how you want.
