Make it so that holding control while clicking on an emoji in the emoji list won't close the list and will still write the emoji

This would be very useful for writing a combination of emojis quickly, instead of having to click on emoji, click on the list, scroll, click on the (or another) emoji again...

  I'm glad they added this if you're in the emoji menu.

  but it would be REALLY good if it also worked from the search results after typing a colon and the emoji name into the text box.

  like if I type :mage i cannot shift and click on the three mage results, just as an example.

  yes i know i can use the emoji menu instead, but this feels like an accident or oversight?
