Selfbots and why I think we need them back

Selfbots on discord are a very difficult thing to talk about. It is probably pretty known that about 2% of discord users use selfbots, but most of them go almost completely unseen. Why? Because selfbot is not equal to spambot or raidbot. These are completely different things. Only about 1% of selfbots are used maliciously, which is why I think we need to remove the ban for them, but instead ban them for WHAT THEY ARE DOING, instead of WHAT THEY ARE! As I already mentioned, 2% of users do selfbotting, but only 0.02% of people (1% of selfbots) are malicious. Problem with this is also: This rule is rarely enforced, meaning it'd be almost exactly the same environment. People who use it maliciously will not stop doing that anyways, so the ban doesnt affect them, while people like me who would like to use a selfbot again (for example to get more server information or client-side commands) can't do that due to this rule.

tl;dr Banning selfbots only affects people who follow the rules anyway, so the ban makes no sense to me.
