Disconnecting from calls and awful video call quality

First of all, I use a Samsung Galaxy a50. So, I get into a call in a private dm. After about an hour or so, I'll randomly get disconnected and then I have to manually reconnect. This gets really, really annoying. The person that I normally call with told me about how awful my camera quality was when we video call. Apparently it seems like I only get 2 or 5 fps??? It's terribly laggy. This all has been going on for months and I've searched everywhere for answers.

  I'm on Sony and I get disconnected too! Sometimes it happens mid-sentence.. So annoying!! :(
