Possible Improvement for accepting a friend request
The problem, as explained by example: Let's say I meet Wolly Wumpus at a gaming convention. I give him my Discord Username so he can send me a friend request. He writes it down and send me one the next day. Unfortunately, Wolly Wumpus's Discord username isn't Wolly Wumpus; its Spellslasher Extreme#9000. Well, I was expecting a friend request, so I accept it. Here's the problem: I forgot to memorize Wolly Wumpus's username BEFORE clicking Accept Friend Request, so now I'll have to scroll through my whole friend list, opening DMs and messaging anyone whose username looks kinda unfamiliar. "Are you wolly wumpus?" I'll ask total strangers.
This is especially a problem for me because I always accept friend requests, even from strangers who don't share a mutual server. I don't get requests very often, and I often forget it's an issue.
The solution to this problem is very simple: automatically open a channel in DMs with the person you accepted a friend request from, and jump to it. Why is automatically switching screens (especially when unexpected) a good idea? Simple:
A) you aren't going to get 15 DMs all at once in most situations, so you don't need to stay on that screen.
B) Even if you do get that many requests at once, you'll want to message each of those people individually, not as a group.
C) If you are denying requests because you know that those users are bots, you can still do that just as easily. Denying a friend request will (obviously) not open a DM with the user.
