Add a way to remove billing history

If you have ever bought Nitro in the past, it possible to view your full billing history with account access or token access. This includes your billing address, full name, card expiration date, last 4 card digits, and e-mail address for all of your Nitro purchases.

This information is displayed when you make a HTTP request to

https://discordapp.com/api/v6/users/@me/billing/payments?limit=20 with an authorization token.

 

It cannot be removed through Discord Support. The only advantage to having billing information stored like this is for account recovery purposes, but it does not have to be shown to the client for that sake.

 

I would like to remove my billing history for security and privacy reasons but have no way of doing this.

  You need to add "delete transactions" option (if you want to remove that information you need to delete your account)

  This absolutely deserves attention! Storing sensitive billing data like this long-term is a risk. Sure, it might be convenient for occasional account recovery, but there are better ways to handle that without exposing users.

  Ideally, we should have the option to delete old bill's history or at least have it automatically purged after a set period. It's great that this security hole was found, but now Discord needs to step up and implement a fix that protects user data.\
