Profile note character limit indication

When adding a profile note on mobile, you are able to both type and paste above the character limit, and if you close the profile with the note above character limit, the changes will be lost. In my support request I was told “Sadly, this is intended behavior due to the technical limitations on mobile devices” I’m not very informed on the limitations of mobile devices, but I feel like there should be some way to make the UX better here. - A hard cutoff that does not allow typing above character limit - A pop up that informs the user they are above character limit - A pop up when profile is being closed, before it closes, that alerts the user that the note is above character limit and the changes will not be saved - Text below/above the note box that says “Limit 500 characters” (or whatever the limit is) Even if there’s no way to stop the user from typing above the limit, some sort of way to inform them that there is a limit would be better than nothing, in my opinion.
