Traditional UI > New one
The new UI, especially typing bar and around does not look good and not discord. At least when you want to make such fundamental changes let the user choose on settings.

Absolutely agree. It's a poor design change that makes it much harder to type longer messages, and makes the typing area feel very cramped.
