Another post about the new terrible UI design

The desktop version has been changing unnecessary things too sometimes, things I'm not always happy about or sure about the motivation behind it. However, it hasn't been as close to jarring as this mobile update. I've personally never been on these Discord Forums (sorry! Seems like a great place) but I felt like I needed to say something about this. The sliding tabs just feel bad to use. From a UX designer point of view, that's simply it. As others have mentioned, it is also nauseating. Furthermore, when you are in a call, the bar at the bottom is now a green bar at the top... Why?? It looks SO bad and feels even worse. I'm not completely sure what else they changed but theres a few other things that feel off as well. Please stop trying to "fix" or change things that are already great. Discord is such a great app and has so many good features and is constantly improving in ways as well. Don't take a u-turn like other apps have by constantly changing your design, especially for the worse. Instead, invest your time into adding things that people have been asking for. Such as seeing who reacted emojis on a message (on Desktop) or more slots for pinned messages (even if it is a part of Nitro). I really hope the devs see this and revert these atrocious changes. Thank you.
