A way to turn on and off other peoples status's

I'm probably not the only one who gets tired of people using the status on discord to post sad and depressing stuff and as someone who already has depression, it does not help me what so ever to see "I'm trash, can't sleep, km" etc every day. so a way to turn off either another users status or the status feature as a whole would be extremely nice to have.
