I keep Disconnecting from calls and reconnect
If I want to connect to a call or call my friend in Discord, it will straight away disconnect me and a few seconds later it reconnect me and then disconnect me again and then reconnect, the hole time. I even let this process running for an hour and still disconnect and reconnect. This also happened when i want to go live while the camera is on and when I screen Share. But if I change the Settings from Voice Activity to Push to talk, everything is fine if I call someone or go in a Server Call. But if I go live and screen share there is still the problem. I prefer Voice Activity so I can easily talk to my friends while I'm playing games or doing something else, where i don't need to press a button to talk.
Please try to fix my issue.

This is still happening. Discord regularly disconnects me from calls where I'm using camera or am streaming/being streamed to. In these cases Discord would completely crash and relaunch itself, and reconnect me into the call every 20-30 minutes. It's extremely frustrating, and I can't make sense of what's causing it.

this is happening to me in voice calls. it just says connecting and then disconnected. over and over again. i refreshed many times and I turned off hardware acceleration. it has been going on for a very very long time and I just cant connect. my internet is fine too.

Same thing happened to me starting from yesterday. For me, it only seems to disconnect when I minimize discord into a taskbar and start playing a game. After a disconnect though, I don't seem to reconnect and it's almost like discord loses it's connection with the internet itself, as any new messages from people aren't even registered. I've tried restarting discord, restarting my computer, reinstalling discord, resetting voice setting and to no success.
If someone out there does have a fix, please inform everyone about it.Thanks. :)

Count me and my group of friends who are experiencing the crazy random disconnects on our server. It all started many months ago at this point, but we used our server for over a year without issue before that.
For the most part, we have 2 ppl who use the desktop version and 2 ppl who use mobile. Here are all of the things we see with our "disconnects":
-Randomly, you will just stop hearing everyone else talking, and no one else can hear you. That person won't actually disconnect, but cannot hear or communicate. Disconnecting and connecting to the channel fixes this temporarily. We can go hours without an issue on some nights, but every 1-2 minutes have someone get hit with this on other nights. We initially thought it was just the mobile users, but this affects everyone now.
-Similar to what some have described in this thread, another issue we see is the actual, periodic disconnects. On mobile (Android), the green bar at the top that's says "connected" will randomly change to orange/red and disconnect for about 5-20 seconds, then reconnect (usually). I use a BT headset on mobile that gives me an audible "disconnected" message when it drops a call, and this I will hear it all the time. This is usually the only way I know I'm disconnected, other than realizing I'm not hearing anyone, then go check and see it reconnecting. This also happens on PC for others.
-Sometimes we will see disconnects that happen and the app will stop responding, requiring us to restart. This one seems mainly experienced by mobile users, but desktop has seen something similar.
I will say that, in general, the Android/mobile version sees these issues more often, but it still happens to all users. We have all tried reinstalling apps, changing all the settings mentioned, etc. No fix. And when researching online, all I see are things like this thread and no answers that actually solve it. Which is quite sad since we've built up this server of ours quite a bit and have a history with it.
It has gotten to the point that we are switching to TeamSpeak for voice chat. Yes, TeamSpeak is still around, the app costs $1 on Android and we host a server on someone's PC. But it works without issue (so far).
Maybe one day Discord will fix it's software, or someone else will find a solution!

!!SOLVED!! for me at least.
I opened ports in my router and enabled "Smart QoS" and now im not disconnecting :D
Ports: 50000 - 65534 (UDP).

Hello recently my discord has decided to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect. This makes calls very hard for me and takes one of the main uses of discord for me. I have tried every way to fix it and discord doesn't budge is there anyway support can help me?

i think it not so good idea to open ports on router, as someone says before..and "Smart QoS" as usuall enabled by default in routers.. at us this problem began after update from win 8.1 to win10.. I suspect that this trouble is in Windows 10 in energysaving settings, or some windows update made this. will try to reinstall windows 10 to another edition, will let you know

I'm having the same problem in my home internet but when i turn on 4G and connect it to the pc it works this is so annoying every time i want to talk to someone i have to lose all of my gig's

I have the same issues.
The facts:
- Desktop App (fully updated)
- Windows 10 (fully updated)
- 200 MBit on LAN (with another person on that line in the same video chat)
- time between disconnects range from a couple minutes to 2 hours-ish with no apparent reason
- no lags, nothing that indicates that Discord doesn't work properly right before it happens
- it's as if Discord crashes and restarts itself
- I'm reconnected to the voice call within like 5 seconds, but have to start video manually
- it never crashes and restarts like that when I'm not in a video call
- no other app behaves like that
- ... my partner, in the same chat, on the same internet line, with a computer, does not experience those disconnects (they're also on Win10)
- neither does anyone else in the room. it's only me
I can deal, but it's kind of annoying and just ... infuriating because I don't know *why* it happens

Discord please fix this the issue is really annoying. Since I play games with my friends it distracts me and i get delayed messages and just disconects me please help

Last night this was constantly happening to me and I had to alt tab and just click the icon on my task bar. I could not find a way to turn off all keybinds to try and stop whatever was disconnecting the client. Did you ever find a solution?
