[Feature Request] Account Switcher
ConcluídaLet's face the facts here: many Discord users have at least one alt because some things that they say are best not said and expressed on an account with a known identity. This reason is completely understandable, though there are some complications that make switching accounts unnecessarily difficult. For example, if you have 2FA enabled or forget your password (or even both) on an alt or main, the process to sign-in takes a lot longer. With this in mind, I am suggesting that there should be an account switcher to make the change in accounts easier. I put an example below of where I think this should be (having it with status makes sense because they are related):
If you click "Change your status", the usual options will show up (Invisible, Do Not Disturb, Idle, Online, Custom). If "Switch active account" is interacted with, the following UI could show up:
The offline accounts are invisible unless they are active, and the active account will have the status currently being used. For these options to show up, there should be a section in settings called "User Accounts". In this section, there could be a plus button that when pressed, can allow you to add up 4 alt accounts that you can switch to (1 Main, 4 Alts, 5 total). When you change the password or any other security information to an alt, that person should be required to sign-in with it again before they can switch to it (for obvious security reasons). In this section, each alternate account will be listed with an "X" next to it so each account added can also be removed from the switcher.
Hopefully this has been presented to you with as much information to the request as possible and if there is anything else needed to be explained, please let me know. Thanks!
