Make blocking more effective

I feel like blocking someone on discord isn't very effective because you just can't message them or see their messages. I would like it if blocking could remove someone you blocked from your visible server member lists or that you couldn't see each others' profiles. Maybe there can even be a Discord setting for whether you want to hard block them or soft block them if adding this is too much. This issue has been going on for years, and I would really like it updated.
