Role Permission Overview and Ease of Management

I have to go through many many roles on a server and individually check which ones have which permissions to make sure nothing is messed up, e.g. non staff members having delete messages permission. This is obviously extremely important to do right and yet we are forces to do this in a extremely inconvenient and annoying way. There should be a better overview system to see all role permissions at once or otherwise being able to conveniently see permissions without having to click and scroll through all roles!
