Do not support NFTs or cryptocurrency

If you're looking at this at an exclusively monetary standpoint, you are making an unnecessarily huge gamble -- go onto Twitter, and you'll see many people already cancelling their Nitro in response to the decision. People who are against NFTs and crypto are going to avoid using your website, and from what it looks like many of those into NFTs and crypto already use Discord. You're literally just losing money for no reason. Not to mention, people leaving are already looking for alternatives. Discord is the most well-known chatting application in the modern day. Nothing can properly compare -- sure, there's group chats on Twitter, but they can only hold so many people, and they don't have things like channels and public servers, custom emojis and statuses. But there are many services that do have these. There are many services that do exactly what you do, and for free. The only thing holding them back is their lack of a userbase. If you make this move, many members of your userbase are going to move to these sites. These sites will become more popular. You'll get competitors -- competitors that are free, oftentimes open-source, and would almost definitely not make a move like this because the developers would know their audience's reason for coming there.

From a practical standpoint, please consider the large amounts of scammers on your website. Please also consider that oftentimes, cryptocurrency is used in scams in order to make it more difficult if not impossible for the victim to get their money back. Your site's scamming problem will spike dramatically, and people will likely end up losing more money than usual. That means less people will sign up for Discord, and will put a completely unnecessary strain on the moderators because they'll need to focus almost all of their attention on what would definitely become a much larger scamming problem.

From a moral standpoint, is it really worth it to integrate something that harms the environment incredibly, that serves barely any purposes beyond buying things no one cares about and criminal goods, in order to maybe get more money? Is that really worth it? If you're adding this feature for free you're definitely going to lose money, and hurt the already weak environment even more. And for what? For everything I listed above? For you to lose money, for you to lose users. Even if it did make you money... would it be worth it? You already make tons of money from Nitro and server boosts alone. Would it be worth it to help destroy the environment in order to make that extra little bit of money? I don't think so.
