Hell no to Crypto, NFTs can get deez nuts

I have very happily hosted a community on Discord for several years now and we've spent the time investing in it to get features for it since we hang on out on it so much. A lot of us are very close and this is the best way we can keep in touch because of our distance from each other. The features Nitro affords us lets us do weekly events like movie nights, game streams during the day, etc.

However, I am greatly disappointed to hear that not only is Discord considering implementing NFTs- something that the public OVERWHELMINGLY DESPISES- but also crypto currency too. Not only am I uninterested in these ideas, but I also think it is foolish, shortsighted trendchasing. You are going to lose a large chunk of your userbase if this happens, and my community is going to be among the droves that leave.

I hope to see a public announcement that you are not going to be taking this direction very soon, as I actually am very fond of this application and would hate to leave it because you decided to integrate something as harmful to the environment as NFTs.
