I replied to a post, then edited it, and it disappeared. But the 6-hour timer is still going, so I can't re-reply. And yes, I am sure I didn't just miss my reply in scrolling through, because A: the board isn't *that* active right now, B: I searched for a word I KNOW I used in my reply, and my reply doesn't come up, and C: I've scrolled through every post since the one I replied to FIVE times.

  It's possible that the server actually has a bot that deletes edited messages. They might have it set up like that so people can't be misleading with their messages.
