Ps3 Rich Presence

Loving the new playstation partnership and all, but I mainly use a ps3 instead of my ps4. Ps4 shows friends playing ps3 games, so I'm assuming it's possible to add the rich presence to ps3 aswell, so why doesn't discord/playstation do it? Is it because the ps3 isn't supported by sony anymore, or is it just too old?

  I think they don't do it because ps3 isn't supported by Sony and if they add this it will remove some incentive to upgrade to PS4/5
