Option to disable Discord automatically turning off video it determines as idle!

Just so nobody accuses me of having a hardware problem: Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 Super, 32gb ddr4 3600mhz, and gigabit internet. Whenever I'm playing video games on one monitor and video chatting my girlfriend on the other monitor discord will just turn off my video or her video at random times. I don't even have to be playing a game but if I'm not clicked on to the discord window it will just randomly determine that either of us is inactive and disable the video. I know she's not doing it because as soon as I click back onto the discord window the video turns back on. Is anyone else tired of Discord being the hardware/bandwidth police? I emailed discord about this issue and they just said the app turns off video it determines as idle. It's 2022 computers have come a long way it's time to disable or provide an option to disable this archaic feature.
