It is incredibly important that the Create Events perm be separated from the Manage Events perm. I can never allow everyone in my server to add events to the calendar because anyone who could do so would also be able to edit and delete other people's events. This wouldn't be an issue if only mods could manage events, users being able to edit and delete only their own, like for text messages. If random users spammed too many events, mods could just come in and remove the junk ones.

Well, it seems that the permission (or at least a placeholder) has been added to Channel Permissions. Though still missing from Role Permissions.
However, it doesn't work. I've managed an active and complex server for 5 years, I can say for certain, that I have fully troubleshooted this; it's nothing my end, it just doesn't work.

I would benefit greatly from enabling 100s of members to create and host events. However, enabling those same people to delete and EDIT what is effectively each others' messages, would be utter carnage!
Please Discord dev team, finish the job!
