Knowing if the person in dms actually READS your message

Like I wanted to know if they read the message or not, like some sort of icon to let them know if the message was read

For example the app Telegram has a feature that a the other person have read the message by a checkmark

One checkmark means that the message have went through.

Two checkmark means that the message have been read.

I'm not saying to copy it but it would be good to know if a person in dms actually read your messages in dms without using the @

    Not everyone is waiting for the other party to know whether you have read their message yes or no.
