Bold/Italic keyboard shortcuts conflicting with native Firefox shortcuts

In Firefox, keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl + B and Ctrl + I have native functions (bookmark sidebar and page info). These conflict with the text shortcuts for bold and italic. Trying to bold the text does work, but it also opens the bookmark sidebar.

It should be easily fixable. Many other sites don't have issues with this (hitting ctrl+B on them doesn't open the bookmark bar), including this very feedback page where hitting ctrl+b bolds the text without opening the bookmarks.

    Agreed. I use notion and ctrl+ B does not conflict with bookmark bar in firefox. Same for this support page. But it conflicts with the discord.com/app

    I was annoyed by that and made a bug report. It seems that it’s finally fixed (I had not tried in a while, and today it seems OK).

    Getting the source-code tab of the web page popping up when trying to underline text was quite distressing. xD
