Link blocking

I would like to suggest that the text channel permissions be changed to allow posting of links because several servers have their own channel where they only post links and not to other channels or there are servers where no links are allowed at all.

And with that link blocking it would make the server more secure if accidentally someone clicks on a scam or malware link.

  in your automod settings, i think theres a setting to enable auto link deletion but im not sure. Try checking it out by going on your server settings > automod > whatever the automod is called

  Or

  Get a bot that has a command to auto delete invite links.

  you can create an automod rule and put http://*, https://* to block the links!

  Discord has server-wide block rules for custom words, but this is too broad and setting it up is complicated for links without breaking something. Instead we could have permission settings to block links, and include an option for whitelisting safe website domains - eg youtube.com, microsoft.com.

  That way we can tailor roles and channels to certain functions.
