Public Name / Friend Name

I appreciate the thought behind allowing users to give their friends "friend nicknames" however it is tedious to do this for every single person, and what's more, this is specific for every single user.

So... why not extend the server profile feature and allow users to set a "friends profile" shown to users in the friends / DM list. That way, the public doesn't have to know your real name/nickname, but your friends can.
