Option to hide individual messages in servers clientside

How hard would it be to have a feature which lets you hide a particular message clientside in servers?

Sometimes I'll be in a server and someone who I otherwise get along with posts something I don't really want to see, but they're otherwise chill so I don't want to block them or leave the server etc. A feature to hide/collapse a specific message could be great in those circumstances.

A button near the Reply or Create Thread options which can hide the message for you until clicked again seems simple to my admittedly not tech-savvy mind!

  Agreeing with this. There are instances where I don't want to block or mute a user, but they may post something I prefer not to have in a channel such as spoilers, posting a news article or film trailer for the dozenth time, and so on.
