Shortcut to jump to newest message

For SOME REASON, Discord doesn't have a shortcut for jumping to the latest message!?!?

It's totally shocking that there isn't a way to scroll back down a chat when you've been going back up a chat for a while and you have to just keep scrolling back down endlessly to get back to the conversation at hand (or hold Page Down but even that's weirdly slow). There's the bar that can show up to jump to the latest message which is GREAT!... but just not always there for some reason... It should just show up as soon you've gone up like 5 messages above the latest one or something.

But regardless of that, going to the bottom of a scrollable block of text is such a basic thing to do that there's a key on keyboards for it: End!!! Why doesn't the End key just jump you back down to the bottom of the chat??? So that desperately needs to get implemented.
Also, an alternative should be put in for keyboards that dont't have End keys (like many many laptops)
