Its too easy to stalk people in discord

There are a lot of mentally deranged and unhinged people in discord and its too easy for them to stalk you.

For example lets say you are a girl in a discord and you simply use an Emoji from another server (a server that youve been in for years)

A person who has bad intentions can simply click the emoji you used, find out which server its from, join that server (if its public) and use the search feature to find every single message you've ever sent in that server. Mentions of what state/city may be present in your chat history, as well as things like your social media pages like twitch or youtube channels. I know "dont ever put personal info out there" will probably be what a lot of people think of but it really can come up in the most benign ways such as "I get 40 ms ping in xyz game from Wyoming" or "[interesting thing] happened at my work today" which could indicate you work at a hospital, or amazon warehouse, etc.

Even if their discord gets banned if they harass you in discord, theyve already obtained enough information to harass you elsewhere or with other discord accounts.

Can we

* NOT have what server an emoji comes from be shown? That way someone cant find out what other server you are in simply because you used Nitro's feature to use emojis from elsewhere

* Have an option to opt out of the search, or even better yet, have an option to automatically delete your server messages 1 week or 1 month later (with the option to specify specific messages not to delete) - have this on a per-server basis.

You shouldn't post private information on a public server.
Make sure you know exactly what details about you are public and not and only share private details to people you trust.

If you use emojis from none public servers (discord server discovery), people do not know where they are from.
I personally am on a few big servers with lots of emojis, but not chat on them, so no data can be harvested there.
I have my own private servers that have a lot of emojis i use too.

Also avoid posting screenshots of your weather and the time. That can be used to find in what city you live in too.
Avoid saying what city you are from if it is not big. Don't tell others at what company you work. You can say "i work in the medical industry." So you could be a doctor, nurse in a hospital etc... and people cannot pinpoint what your location is. That way you can still talk about you but not reveal too much info to potential stalkers and people with bad intend.

Thats what i do i guess, dunno if that helped.
PS: I doubt discord will add the "delete my messages in x days" feature. For sensetive talks i usually use Signal or Telegram or other services that have end to end enctypted messaging and self destructiong messages.
