Monospaced font isn't fully monospaced?

I'm using EndeavourOS (Linux) and Discord on web, so not sure if this is a computer issue or Discord's issue, but I noticed that 7 characters do not line up with 7 spaces when using code. This is quite annoying since monospace font is monospace for a reason.
