Client Side nicknames for deleted users

Can we extend the client side nicknames to any user? Or at least DeletedUser #########? I really don't think I'm doing any harm in renaming weirdos that message me from community servers to Weirdo 3. But if that's too much, can I at least rename Deleted Users?

I have a few people that due to harassment have had to delete their accounts and make new ones on my friends list. But those old accounts still hold a lot of messages. And a lot of info I sometimes need to access. So I'd appreciate being able to tell them apart at a glance.

And it shouldn't violate any rules surrounding it since it's all client side right? Reference to them having been there is scrubbed from your servers. If I added information to my account tagging this conversation as being relating to Jim-Billy-Bob III, it shouldn't class as valid information correct?

Maybe even make it so I have to pick from some pre-generated text that is just words. So instead of free text field, I get like 3 select boxes that contain words like Flower, or Blue so I have to come up with codes that I as a human can remember relates to the person in question.

Hell I'd be happy to make a pull request myself for it if that's allowed.

that's actually a great idea. i have a LOT of deleted users in my DMs and i want to know who they are.

i actually think that when a user's account is deleted, the nickname for that user client side is set to their old username or old nickname (if it was set) and then the actual username would display the "Deleted User ######."
