[request] allow private channels in onboarding

The only work around I've found to achieve are:

    • Make a new Onboarding role which new members will apply (As the first question) during the Onboarding stage but deny the role's read/write permission  for each server channel. Make sure the verified role has allowed read/write permission for all server channels as the allow permissions will have priority over the Onboarding role.

    •  Another work around is that you can set up Onboarding as it requires, after enabling it and setting it up, go back to the @everyone role and deny the permissions. Onboarding should remain enabled despite the big red warning telling you otherwise.

Hopefully they'll sort this out soon.

I deeply hope Discord will unable such settings. Like you, my server has a pretty strict manual moderation system.

What would be great is if Discord could make a command "/verify" which would take off/give base role and then show up the Onboard questions.
It would also be nice if they could add a setting so that some questions are only visible if you have some roles, or like make the question pop up when you get a specific role. For example, after some time in my server, you gain access to a new channel (with a role) where you can choose bonus channels to add to your list.

I love this feature and I'm sad that I'm unable to use it currently.

This is really bad, i came to realize most members don't see all our channels, including our moderators! They need a default member role for the access but they apparently don't enable by default to actually see them. How could they know to go “Browse channels” to manually enable them all? Expected every member to do that??

So to fix this i need to go to server settings → Community → “Disable Community”?

Lets hope it becomes useable some day then.
