Server Bans should have an expiration date.

This is a great idea, but I think that choosing a ban date is better for moderating, although I do like your suggestion. I doubt that Discord will add this feature though, so you can use a bot for temporary bans! Yes, they may use a permanent ban but they automatically schedule when to unban. You may as well schedule an unban by yourself, although it will be more tough.

    Hi Potagon!

As I said, bans should all be on expiration and only permanent at the sixth one, giving members 5 chances before being over and out.

I noticed that servers I'm in or was in have either lost members or completely died off with permanent bans in place, this is not really something that Discord should take lightly, like my other feedback.

Permanent bans do not belong on Web2.5 and Web3 platforms such as Discord, permanent bans are from a bygone era stemming from Web1 and Web2 days, where Hyper centralization was key, now that we've moved past Hyper centralization and onto User-Ran Instances, thus decentralization, permanent bans became barbaric and useless.

I moderate 3 servers and all bans are worth the perma ban, I don't want those to have a second chance automatically or at all, only when they contact me directly. (low unban chance)
And, why would I want raiders/scammers or people that troll/harass have it easy to redo the trouble they caused 3 days later?
