New Verify Methods for recovering Compromised Discord Accounts.

I would like for Discord to implement new ways other then e-mail verification to recover your Discord account other then by the originally associated e-mailadress.

My account was compromised on the 14th of November by a hacker who saved all my browser passwords and could login to all my socials and e-mail accounts. Due to this i wasn't able to recover the e-mail that was linked to my Discord and have lost my almost 6-years old Discord accounts and all my friends and contacts i have built troughout my entire youth + multiple big Discord servers that got deleted in the process because of my account falling in the hands of someone with malicious intentions it is very sad that altough i had 2FA on my Discord account this did absolutely nothing to stop this from happening or helping me after the fact.

For context when you try to recover your hacked account the request must come from the original e-mail associated with the Discord account to start the process of recovering it. If you fail to do so you permanently lose your Discord account (The hacker has in the main time changed my name and even retrieved a developer badge when i originally only had a Early Supporter & i had a golden hypesquad badge back when that was a thing.)

I can complain about how bad my own situation was handled simply because i don't have acces to the e-mail anymore but since i explained my idea in a ticket and a Moderator seemed to agree with me that this would not be a bad idea and could greatly benefit people with accounts lost due to this i would like to prupose the following :

Allowing Ownership to be verified trough more ways then just e-mail in the recovery process such as :

- Discord Purchases (Such as Nitro for example)

- Previously associated phone number(s)

If you are in a situation maybe not with the same scenario as me but facing the same problem that you can't get the help you need after losing your account because of losing e-mail acces i would really appreciate a thumbs-up or for you to share your story below this post so this problem can get recognized.

I would love this! I have recently been unable to recover my password for this account (had to change the password after a hack last summer and forgot the new password after enabling 2FA, but none of the 8 digit backup codes I have work when I tried to disable 2fa, and support is unable to produce and provide new codes or disable 2fa from their end due to privacy reasons. So if I ever end up logged out on my main PC desktop app (or the computer just dies) I lose so much.

You know how discord is.

They just don't listen to their community and put more useless stuff instead.

I got my account disabled 6 days ago and contacted Discord, even writing a letter to them.
