Discord Not Safe From Scammers

Despite how secure I have my settings I still get message requests and friend requests from individuals whom I assume are scammers.  I have my settings to only receive messages from individuals I share servers with. So why am I still getting these requests from people i do not know, requests I am not expecting, and from individuals i do not sharer servers with? And I cant report them. 

There is NO REASON for these individuals to be sending me requests at all. There is no reason for them to even know who I am or have my Discord account username or ID. Discord has become a haven for scammers.. bottom line.  When Discords largest defense against scammers is "well just dont click the links"  ..that is pretty flimsy security IMO. 

These individuals are obviously either scammers or spammers and I have no way to report them unless I engage in a conversation with them by accepting their requests.. fukn stupid.  By nature Discord is set up to let these individuals operate in such a manner. Its like Discord wants them doing this becasue I have been getting these requests from them for YEARS with no end in sight.
