Discord Stable Break Embeds with emoji's?

We have many embeds in our server channels that use emoji icons or custom icons 
and it seems they are broken doing a simple hyperlink like this

 [💎・Google](https://google.com) <-- not working
 [・Google](https://google.com) <-- works

does not show properly anymore, it works fine on the mobile app, Canary & PTB builds of discord. however on stable via the webapp or desktop version, it no longer displays properly..
