You do not need to break your product to justify keeping you employed to fix it. It works. People like it. Keep the lights on and take it easy. Maybe add a feature or two by popular demand. Do not make changes nobody asked for in the face of widespread backlash from your users. Electron apps are not so special that people won't jump ship for the next shiny thing if you piss them off enough. Look at the recent PR disasters on this side of the internet. Once beloved or at least tolerated companies are practically driving themselves off cliffs in the name of "iteration". What's in the water over there? This is not the time to drive your users away. I hope your finances are in order.
