Quoting user and show the original message

When quoting someone, it should show the original message at the time of quoting.
User 1: sends a message
User 2: quotes User 1's message
User 1: Edits his original message making the quote meaningless
The point I'm trying to say is that User 1 shouldn't be able to edit user 2's quoted message of user 1
