Adding a knock feature to locked channels

I have a suggestion brought up by a member of my community to add a possible "knock" feature for locked channels, we have a Discord that we use for racing and during the races only team members want to be able to join in and communicate with each other, but after races member want to socialize and perhaps during a race they want to ask a question, would it be possible to add a feature that allows someone to knock and be granted temporary access to the channel so that they can communicate with the people in the channel for a limited time. I know you could always just leave the channel unlocked, but that defeats the purpose of having it limited to the team members and sometimes they have random people join in and disrupt them during the races which is why I am suggesting this "knock" feature.
