please make all pings including direct pings blockable

think this would be best here, since it is an effect on the overlay.
please make all pings, able to be turned off. the reply feature uses direct pings, and its the ONLY ping you cannot turn off. its getting over used and directly used for harassment by pinging someone dosens of times per minute. i know i can just block the user(s) doing it, but i dont feel like having my block list grow to 1,000 people in a few days. then ill just have to see  "blocked message, click to unhide" all over the place.
