Other voices cutting out randomly

Every time I try to listen so someone else talk, there are always random parts of their sentence that cut out and I can't hear anything. Sometimes even the middle of their sentences are cut out.

This started a couple days ago and I think this must be a problem with the Windows 10 discord app, because using the web app on the same computer works fine.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

  maybe tell them to try and disable echo suppression? a friend had the same problem with his new mic ^^
